Temperature spectrum of internal friction in LaSrCuO and YBaCuO systems

Description
The autors studied the temperature spectra of internal friction and of a dynamic modulus of shear of La1.85Sr0.15CuO4 and YBa2Cu3O7-δ systems at frequencies of elastic vibrations (60 kHz and 0.8 Hz) in temperature range 60-300 K. A nonmonotonous variation of internal friction and a dynamic modulus of shear around the transition temperature to superconductivity for YBa2Cu3O7-δ system was found. In case of specimens of the same system, but without transition to superconductivity this variation is not observed. Attention was paid to substantial difference in the way of variation of a dynamic modulus of shear in LaSrCuO and YBaCuO systems at temperature decrease
