Excitation functions of 107Ag(d,2n)107Cd and 109Ag(d,2n)109Cd reactions

Description
Natural silver foil stacks inserted between aluminium catcher and degrader foils were bombarded with 13.4 MeV deuteron beam. The excitation functions of 107Ag(d,2n)107Cd and 109Ag(d,2n)109Cd were determined and compared with other results in literature and the theoretical result. Quite good agreement with the latter was obtained
