On hygiene standardization of combined environmental factors (on the basis of data on rat death in three generations after injection of 226Ra+herbicide TMTD)

The toxic effect of a binary mixture of 226Ra and TMTD herbicide has been determined by mathematical treatment of the results. The results of death in three generators of white rats of no breed, which had been subjected to chronical poisoning with the binary mixture of 226Ra and TMTD herbicide, were investigated. A coefficient of the combined effect was calculated. The advantage in determining the error of this coefficient was given to logarythmic calculations and not to differentiation. This permits a detection of antilogarythmic and coalitive changes in the generative functions of rats after a combined effect of 226Ra+TMTD mixture. The indices of rat generations, which have been affected by the combined effect of both substances introduced into the rats, are presented
