Research on the mechanisms for nuclear safety culture regulation

The double roles of the nuclear regulator in overseeing and evaluating safety culture as well as developing internal safety culture are analyzed. The practice of NRC safety culture oversight is discussed, especially the consideration on safety culture in the NRC reactor oversight framework and reactor oversight action matrix. Suggestions on establishing the mechanisms for nuclear safety culture regulation in China are proposed. (authors)
