Rotation corrections for stainless steel specimens in the unloading compliance method
Description
Some difficulties encountered in the determination of tearing resistance R-curves of stainless steels by the unloading compliance method are reported. Due to the large displacements exhibited by the specimens, rotation corrections are needed but are insufficient to account for the discrepancy observed with the reference heat tinting method
