Proceedings of the international conference on multifunctional materials

Almost one third of the researchers in physics work on material synthesis, characterization and application. In many area people are working on the same material from different angles. Although, the method of preparation of the materials are almost common, the tools and technique used in the characterizations are also the same but on the basis of these studies results are reported for different properties. The aim was to organize this conference and invite people working in different disciplines to provide an international forum to discuss the current activities in the fields of synthesis and characterization of materials and look for multifunctionality which covers different field of investigation. The lectures in the workshop on synthesis, structural, optical characterizations of materials and their applications would form a base for the younger participants.
