Improved modeling of chamber transport for heavy-ion fusion
Description
Beams for heavy-ion fusion are likely to require at least partial neutralization in a target chamber. Several mechanisms that help neutralize a converging heavy-ion beam are studied here using the axisymmetric electromagnetic particle-in-cell code BICrz
