Contribution to the Study of Carbon Oxidation. Dragon Project Report
Description
In chemically controlled kinetics the phenomenon of carbon oxidation is intimately related to its developed surface. For dry gases, either air or CO2, and well purified carbon the specific rate is, for each gas, and for well determined pressure and temperature conditions, a constant, independent of the carbon origin; the presence of water and probably hydrogen may be important.
