Crisp A Prototype Critical Safety Functions Monitoring System For VVER-440 Type Reactors
Description
The aim of the present paper is to summarize the main design characteristics and monitoring principles of the CRISP prototype on-line information system applicable for Critical Safety Functions Monitoring in VVER-440/V213 type reactors. System components are outlined in detail (hardware and software architecture, data communication and display), emphasizing human-machine interface and information presentation methods. The Picasso-3 UIMS and the Software Bus communication system (software tools developed by the Halden Reactor Project) were extensively used during the development work. (author)
