Description

This report presents the results of the PV-NET project (promotion of photovoltaic net-metering) in Mediterranean countries. It first presents the local context of each involved region in terms of electric power price, photovoltaic cost, solar resource, renewable power policy, and so on. It presents actual consumption and production data which have been collected by partners in Cyprus, Portugal, Slovenia and France on pilot installations (with time step of 10 or 15 minutes). It reports an analysis of data for different types of clients (housing, industrial, tertiary) and in terms of hourly and seasonal profiles, installation size, orientation, and use for domestic hot water. It also reports the calculation of self-consumption and self-production rates. It finally reports the development of an economic simulation tool and the study of different scenarios
