On formation of mass-energy distributions of fragments in fission of cold nuclei lighter than radium

Description
The results of experimental investigations of the mass-kinetic energy distributions of fission fragments for nuclei lighter than radium are analysed for the excitation energy interval from threshold up to 60 MeV. The influence of the energy surface structure near the saddle point on the formation of general properties of fragments is considered
