Search for CP-violating charge asymmetry in B±→J/ψK± decays

Description

We present the result of a search for charge asymmetry in B±→J/ψK± decays using 772x106 BB pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The CP-violating charge asymmetry is measured to be ACP(B+→J/ψK+)=[-0.76±0.50 (stat)±0.22 (syst)]%.
