Pre-equilibrium processes in nuclear reactions
Description
The quantum-mechanical theory of pre-equilibrium reactions due to Feshbach, Kerman and Koonin is reviewed and applied to the analysis of reactions of neutrons on 59Co. The semi-classical and quantum-mechanical theories of pre-equilibrium reactions are compared, and their future development discussed. (author). 4 figs., 14 refs
