Description
The mechanism of generating deformation was investigated in the singly closed shell region. It was shown that even a single proton is able to polarize the neutron cloud and generate some very small. βpol2 ∼ 0.02 deformation. As fingerprints of this kind of micro-deformation the induction of quadrupole moment for the core, the alignment of broken pairs and the rearrangement of the neutron density distribution by a single proton are discussed.
