Automatic translation: The incidence rate of cervical cancer (CC) varies in different regions of the world and depends on both the prevalence of HPV infection with HCR and the frequency of detection of virus genotypes with different oncogenic potential. It has been shown, for example, that in Irkutsk, compared with Moscow, among HPV-positive patients, one of the most aggressive types of the virus, HPV16, is significantly more often detected (33.0% versus 23.1%, p <0.005); accordingly, in the first case, the incidence rate of cervical cancer is more than twice as high [Shipulina O.Yu., 2013].
Abstract (Russian)
Уровень заболеваемости раком шейки матки (РШМ) неодинаков в различных регионах мира и зависит как от распространенности ВПЧ- инфекции ВКР, так и частоты выявления генотипов вируса, обладающих различным онкогенным потенциалом. Показано, например, что в Иркутске по сравнению с Москвой среди ВПЧ-позитивных пациенток достоверно чаще выявляется один из наиболее агрессивных типов вируса - ВПЧ16 (33,0% против 23,1%, р < 0,005); соответственно, в первом случае более чем в два раза выше показатель заболеваемости РШМ [Шипулина О.Ю., 2013].Additional details
