Numerical analysis for pellet ablation: Part 1
Description
In this paper, the authors present a two-region numerical analysis method for pellet ablation in plasma where Te≤5 keV, as well as the analytic expressions of ablation variables, which conform with the results of our nemerical analysis. The results show that the major shield region is pellet suface vaporizing layer rather than ablatant cloud and that the flow of ablatant is supersonic when Te≤5 keV
