Description
Description is given of a method for manufacturing coated nuclear fuel particles for high temperature reactors, said method comprising feeding fuel-particles at the top of a fluidization furnace and submitting same to an upward flow of at least one inert gas and at least one pyro-cracking gas at a temperature of from 1,000 to 3,000 deg C. pressure within the furnace is regulated at between 1 and 20 absolute bars. The thus coated particles are used in high temperature reactors
Abstract (French)
On decrit un procede de fabrication des particules de combustible nucleaire enrobees pour reacteurs a haute temperature dans lequel on introduit des particules de combustible au sommet d'un four de fluidisation, on les soumet a l'action d'un courant ascendant d'au moins un gaz inerte et d'au moins un gaz de pyrocraquage a une temperature comprise entre 1000 et 3000 deg C. La pression regnant dans le four est reglee a une valeur comprise en 1 et 20 bars absolus. Les particules ainsi enrobees sont utilisees dans les reacteurs a haute temperatureAdditional details
