Introduction to supersymmetry

Description

General features of global supersymmetry are discussed. The algebra is defined and its unitary irreducible representations are summarized. Superfields and superspace are introduced and their roles in realizing the symmetry are examined. Some examples of Lagrangians are included which illustrate how global and local internal symmetries are combined with supersymmetry. Finally, some aspects of the spontaneous breaking of supersymmetry are discussed. (author)
