Description
There is no doubt that traces of nuclear accidents, as well as some other sources of radioactive contamination are present in our environment. On the occasion of the greatest peacetime nuclear accident in Chernobyl, a large amount of radioactive material was released contaminating broad area around the plant. However to which extent the technologically produced radionuclides enhanced the individual body burden is not accurately known. The subject paper deals with absorbed doses determined biodosimetrically on the basis of structural changes of somatic cells chromosomes in examinees. (author). 3 refs.; 3 tabs
