Hysteresis in intermetallic compound-hydrogen systems
Description
Hysteresis in hudride systems is considered from the view point of nucleation and growth of new phase nuclei. Stresses induced by nucleation are shown to result in initial phase plastic deformation associated with irreversible energy losses. Certain peculiarities of hydride system behaviour are explained
