31P nuclear magnetic resonance study of intracellular PH of whole organs

Description
31P NMR spectra of various organs of rat such as heart, liver and kidney have been studied. Using hexamethyl phosphoramide as an external standard, the intracellular pH of normal organs were determined. The changes of intracellular pH and concentrations of inorganic phosphates in isolated organs were observed under different ischaemic conditions
