Radiologic exploration of impotence
Creators
Description
This monograph studies roentgenologically the vascular organs which are necessary to achieve erection, and their pathological modifications causing impotence. The findings are based on experience with 250 patients whose examination included 460 arteriograms of the internal iliac artery and 52 roentgenograms of the cavernous bodies. The explored vascular organs were arteries, erectile tissues and veins of drainage. The frequent criticism of these techniques involving excessive radiation doses to the gonads, is discussed. (Auth.)
