Continuous sintering oven

Description

The invention allows heating element change without dismantling of a section. The furnace comprises an enclosure and inside a refractory core of horizontal axis. It is made of section tightly connected. Heaters are made of resistors placed on the side of internal walls of the refractory core. The core of square cross section is made of refractory sections jointed by mortise and tenon. Application is made for sintering refractory powders use as nuclear fuels

Abstract (French)

L'invention permet le demontage des elements chauffants d'un troncon sans demanteler celui-ci. Le four comprend une enceinte externe a l'interieur de laquelle est place un coeur refractaire a axe horizontal, muni de moyens de chauffage repartis a l'interieur du coeur. Il est constitue de plusieurs troncons fixes les uns aux autres de maniere etanche. Les moyens de chauffage sont constitues de resistances electriques placees lateralement sur les parois internes du coeur refractaire. Ce dernier est de section carree et est constitue d'elements refractaires assembles par emboitement au moyen de tenons et de mortaises. Application a la cuisson de poudres refractaires utilisees comme combustibles nucleaires
