Description
Data of the self diffusion coefficient for unpolar, polar, hydrogen bonded liquids and water are discussed and compared to existing molecular theories. - The liquids analyzed are a series of halomethanes (CF4, CF3H, CH3F), some monohydric alcohols (CH3OH, C2H5OH) and light and heavy water. They were studied at temperatures between their melting pressure curves and 450 K to pressures of 200 MPa. For methanol and water the data were extended into the supercooled range. (orig.)
