Disorder effect on phonon spectra of CdTesub(1-x-y)Sesub(x)Ssub(y) solid solutions

Description
The method of long-wave IR reflection spectroscopy has been used for the first time to investigate vibration spectra of the CdTesub(1-x-y)Sesub(x)Ssub(y) system solid solutions. Three-mode character of the spectra rearrangement with component composition is identified. The calculation conducted within the frames of a cell variant of the model of uniform displacements satisfactorily agrees with the experimental results. Peculiarities of spectral dependences of the imaginary part of the dielectric permittivity of crystals associated with manifestation of nonlimiting lattice vibrations induced by heavy impurity atoms are discussed
