Description

A model-potential method using selecting B-spline basis functions in a configuration-interaction (CI) scheme is applied to study the bound states of the beryllium isoelectronic sequence (Z = 5-7). The energies and wave functions of the bound 1s22snl (l ≤ 2), and 1s22pnl L(L ≤ 2, L ≠ l) states are calculated and used to calculate the oscillator strengths. Our length results of the oscillator strengths for electric dipole transitions are accurate and can be achieved efficiently for various states. (orig.)
