On a model of stellar clusters with spherical symmetry and mass-homogeneous stellar composition

Creators

Description

A model of a quasistationary stellar cluster with spherical symmetry and mass-homogeneous stellar composition is considered. The distribution function of the star number in velocities and coordinates of the model depends on two first integrals, viz. energy and a modulus of total kinetic moment. The modulus involves a free parameter which permits an implicit account of the mechanism of star approaches and star dissipation to be made. The Schuster model presents a particular case of the model. Availability of a free parameter enables one to make better agreement of the model proposed with observation data than in case of the Schuster model
