Some peculiarities of the Sr 90 and Y 90 accumulation in birch sap

Description
The Sr 90 and Y 90 accumulation in birch sap was investigated using the beta-radiometry methods. The dynamic of volume beta activity of these radionuclides was studied over a period of 720 hours. It was found that the rate of the root contribution of Y 90 into birch sap is 4.6 to 4.9 times higher then that of Sr 90 (authors)
