Description

Layered transition metal oxides AMO2 (A: alkaline, M: transition metal) may show novel electronic properties: the cobaltate NaxCoO2 . yH2O for example is a possible spin-triplet superconductor. Here, we report on the fabrication of isostructural polycrystalline NaxRhO2 (with x = 0.66 and x 1.0) and its magnetic and structural properties measured by neutron powder diffraction and SQUID-magnetometry
