Detonation characteristics of hydrogenous mixtures

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Khimicheskoj Fiziki

Description

The paper reviews and summarizes the results contained in 48 referenced publications related to the subject and evaluates their significance for nuclear power plant safety. The main sections of the paper deal with: parameters of the combustion and detonation process in hydrogeneous mixtures; critical conditions for activation of combustion and detonation in hydrogeneous mixtures; and parameters of pressure waves during explosions of hydrogeneous mixtures. The text is supplemented by 6 tables and 32 figures. (author)
