2D and quasi-2D models for Y124 under pressure
Description
Experimentally it is found that the pressure dependence of Tc, in high-Tc superconductors, is influenced by several factors. The carrier density, the doping, and the contraction of the unit cell are some of these factors. This contraction may change the 2D character of some cuprate superconductors. In this work, 2D and quasi-2D models, with energy band overlap, are used to describe cuprate superconductors under pressure. The results for Y124 are reported
