Measurement of 76Se(n,2n)75Se reaction cross section with detailed uncertainty analysis at 14 MeV neutron energy

Description

The cross section of 76Se(n,2n)75Se reaction at 14.77±0.17 MeV neutron energy was measured with offline gamma spectrometry. Detailed uncertainty propagation is reported. The experimental results were compared with reported the EXFOR data and evaluated data from the ENDF/B-VIII.0, JENDL-5 and TENDL-2019 libraries. Statistical model calculations with TALYS-1.96 code and EMPIRE-3.2.3 were carried out for optimized parameters corresponding to experimental trends. The measured cross section is in good agreement with the data from the EXFOR and the evaluated data libraries. (author)
