Description
New infrared polarization measurements for the Orion-KL nebula are reported. In the core, polarization maps with high spatial resolution (4arcsec) have been made in broad band at K(2.2μm) and lower resolution (20arcsec) maps have also been obtained at K for the outer regions. In addition, the polarization in the upsilon=1-O S(1) emission line of molecular hydrogen (2.122μm) has been mapped in both regions with remarkable results. (author)
