Description
Phase relations in subsolidus region of Nd2O3-B2O3-Nb2O5, Nd2O3-B2O3-Ta2O5 and Nd2O3-Nb2O5-GeO2 systems are studied within 1100-1400 deg C temperature interval by x ray phase analysis method. Production of ternary compounds is not ascertained. Double compound crystals, namely, NdBO3 of aragonite modification, Nd2GeO5, NdNbO4 and Nd14Ge9O39, are grown from solution-melt compositions of PbO-B2O3-Nb2O5-Nd2O3 and PbO-GeO2-Nb2O5-Nd2O3 system. 10 refs.; 3 figs.; 1 tab
