Description
The relative thermoluminescent response of 4 keV X-rays to 60Co gamma rays has been found to be 1.03 +- 0.05 for LiF-TLD (Harshaw) in our possession. The result strengthens the contention that the relative TL response of Lif-TLD can be essentially independent of energy. Further experiments are necessary to determine the material or experimental parameters which may lead to relative TL response significantly different from unity as previously reported in some experimental investigations.
