An example of dynamic analysis of a heat exchanger subjected to pipe break transient loadings is shown. The contribution of the type of loading and component's model is discussed. Simplified verification methods are also presented. (Author)

Mostra-se um exemplo de analise dinamica de um trocador de calor submetido a cargas transientes de ruptura de tubulacao, enfocando-se a importancia da forma de carregamento, bem como do modelo adotado para o componente na determinacao das frequencias naturais e modos de vibracao.
