Ignalina nuclear power plant auxiliary network voltage and frequency variation in case of design accident

  • 1. Kaunas University of Technology, Department of Electric Power Systems, Kaunas (Lithuania)

Description

There are analysed accidents, which may cause frequency and voltage variations being hazard to Ignalina NPP safety system devices. There are studied possible accidents in Russian Power System and in Baltic Joint Power System in winter on-peak and summer of-peak conditions. The accidents studied are: the maximum design accident in Ignalina NPP and the analogous accident in Leningrad NPP. There are investigated the 330-110 kV transmission network of Ignalina NPP and the models used in calculations. There are presented results of calculations of frequency and voltage variations.
