Description

Tests and measurements were made on the building site of the Dukovany nuclear power plant to determine the moisture limit of porous concrete for surface finishing. Volume changes were determined of porous concrete at moisture levels of 30, 20 and 10%, the desiccation rate of porous concrete from 30 to 15% was determined using various surface finishing technologies, the adhesion of the vapour-tight finish to the porous concrete base at moisture levels of 10, 20 and 30% was ascertained, as was the effect of frost on peripheral panels and on internal and external surface finishes at 30 and 15% moisture. The procedure is described of internal surface finishing such as was tested in operation at the Dukovany nuclear power plant in 1983. (E.S.)
