Pattern recognition and the prediction of ore-deposits: Pt.1

  • 1. Huadong Geological Coll., Fuzhou, JX (China). Dept. of Geology

Description

Based upon the comprehensive investigation of the ore-forming model of granite-type uranium deposits, for the firsttime the Cora-3 algorithm, which is one of the pattern recognition techniques to geological prospecting prediction in China is introduced. The results show that Cora-3 algorithm is feasible and effective for the prospecting prediction of uranium deposits. The major geological characteristics of controlling Granite-type uranium ore-deposits can be drawn from the deleting trait test. The prospecting of uranium ore-deposits obtained by the results of vote of control test is consistent with the geological exploration and geological prediction
