Study of the influence of pH on the sorption properties of the biochar-montmorillonite

Description
Biochar currently has a wide range of uses and applications as an sorbent in the protection of various components of the environment. Using a combination of different materials, it is possible to prepare a unique sorbent based on the composition in order to improve the sorption properties of the input materials. To his aim, a sample of biochar - montmorillonite composite was prepared. The work is focused on the sorption capacity of this material, a biochar - montmorillonite composite, depending on the influence of pH on the removal of copper cation from aqueous solutions (authors)
