Description
The reactions of nucleogenic 123I atoms with liquid benzene has been studied. In the absence of a scavenger, the total organic yield is 18-20% and the yield of C6H5I is 7%. In the presence of I2 the total organic yield decreases from 15 to 11% between 10-6 and 5 x 10-3 mf of iodine. The yield of C6H5I is not much affected by the presence of iodine. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
(orig.)Additional details
