Evaluation of the GA Siwabessy Reactor Operation for 7th Cycle

Description

The operation of reactor RSG-GAS for 7th cycle is conducted from November 30, 2011 to March 06, 2012. Evaluation result is used as a feedback to improve the next reactor operation cycle. It is accomplished through literature assessment, data collection, discussion and analysis of reactor operation commencing from the reactor core configuration, operation of low power, reactor power operation, reactor utilization and experiences on disturbance appear during reactor operation. The reactor operation for 7th cycle has been achieved by developing power of 654,0094 MWD and it was utilized for 53 samples irradiation, neutron beam services to PTBIN and topaz colouring on 447 kg. Scram occurred 4 times and disturbance at auxiliary system occurred 49 times. All disturbances have been successfully solved It then can be concluded that the reactor operation for 7th cycle 77 is running well as expected. (author)
