Conversion of electronic pair into muonic pair in nuclear field
Description
Production of muonic pair from annihilation of positrons with atomic electrons is considered for the incident positron energy region 300 MeV or < or approximately E < approximately 1 GeV for the case where a large mommentum, q >> m (m is the electron mass), is transfered to the nucleus. The method of delayed coincidences has been used. The reaction amplitude, differential and total cross section of the process have been determined. The calculation is carried out using perturbation theory over the parameter αZ(α=1/337), Z=atomic number of an element)
