On the RMS-dimensions of circular charged particle beams
Description
The system of equations for RMS-dimensions of circular charged particle beams has been obtained using the momentum method. The betatron oscillations and energy spread have been taken into account. The steady state of beams and their stability are considered. For slowly changing external electromagnetic fields adiabatic invariants are found. These invariants may be used for determination of beam RMS-dimensions at arbitrary moment of the time
