A comment on: 'Superpositions of truncated phase states: generation and properties' [Phys. Lett. A 309 (2003) 5]

In a previous work [Phys. Lett. A 309 (2003) 5] an experimental proposal producing superpositions of truncated phase states in a high-Q microwave cavity was presented. In this Letter we employ a Mach-Zehnder interferometer including a nonlinear Kerr-medium to extend the previous result for traveling waves, appropriate for optical fields
