Microstructural characterization of solidified simulated reactor wasteforms

Description

Six simulated waste samples--three glass and three ceramic--were analyzed by optical, scanning electron, and transmission electron microscopy, electron microprobe, and x-ray diffraction at Sandia Laboratories. Three waste types--residual liquor, redox sludge, and encapsulated 137CsCl--are represented by these six simulated products. 11 figures, 7 tables
