The photon structure and the production of W and Z bosons at ep colliders
Description
A new mechanism for the production of W and Z bosons at ep colliders is discussed which makes use of the quark content of the photon. It is shown that the inclusion of these processes roughly doubles the total cross sections. These processes allow probing of the photon structure at values of Q/sup 2/ two orders of magnitude above the presently accessible region
