A simple explanation for the enhanced baryon rate in direct Υ decays
Description
The enhanced baryons rate observed in the direct Υ decays in comparison with the e+e- continuum is explained in the framework of standard hadronization models. The major part of the present disagreement between the Lund model and experimental data is removed when recent measurements of inclusive charmed baryon branching ratios are taken into account. A different treatment of quark and gluon jets is not needed to explain the measurements. (orig.)
