Nonlocal effective action in momentum space

Description
An alternative method to obtain the nonlocal effective action is presented. By using the momentum space representation and Riemann normal coordinates in general curved spacetime, the one-loop nonlocal effective action is obtained. It is shown that the result agrees with that previously derived by Barvinsky and Vilkovisky
