Description
The neutron response function for BC501A liquid scintillation detector has been measured using the single neutron source by the P-T reaction. A series of proton energies were chosen to produce the neutron energy range from 1 to 20 MeV.The principle that uses the detector response function and the measurement of recoil proton to unfold neutron spectrum is explained briefly. The neutron spectrum of AmBe source was measured by the BC501A scintillator. Finally, the error analysis and discussion of spectrum are given. (authors)
